yo that 700hp is nuts but whats the 60 foot time on that thing tho lol? ik its built for offroad but i wonder if ford ever tested it at a strip to see what kinda trap speed you could pull, would probably get mid 11s or better if theyre serious about that power delivery ngl
Log in or register to replyyeah you guys are thinkin about this wrong lol, that beast isnt designed for drag strip numbers and thats actually the whole point. back when i was workin on carbs id tune for raw power but fuel injection on these modern trucks? theyre constantly adjusting air fuel ratios based on terrain and throttle position, so the raptors computer is prioritizing traction and stability off road over those straight line numbers. the weight distribution tom mentioned is everything out there, ngl id be way more interested in seein how that supercharger handles sand dunes than what happens at a quarter mile track.
Log in or register to replyngl the 0-60 numbers are there (around 4.5 secs) but has anyone actually looked into the weight distribution and how that effects traction off-road vs on pavement? like the raptor r is clearly built for terrain not quarter miles, but im curious if the supercharger tune is different between 2wd and 4wd models or if you’re getting the same power delivery eithier way tbh
