The 2019 Bentley Continental GT represents the pinnacle of grand touring excellence, blending breathtaking performance with uncompromising luxury in a package that defines what it means to cross continents in supreme comfort. This third-generation Continental GT doesn’t just continue Bentley’s legacy: it elevates it to extraordinary new heights.
The Art of British Craftsmanship
Step inside the Continental GT and you’re immediately transported into a world where every surface has been meticulously crafted by human hands. The diamond-quilted leather seats, available in a spectrum of colors that would make a rainbow jealous, cradle occupants in sumptuous comfort. The dashboard flows seamlessly from pillar to pillar, incorporating Bentley’s rotating display that can showcase either a 12.3-inch touchscreen, analog gauges, or a clean veneer panel at the touch of a button.
The attention to detail is staggering. From the knurled metal switches that operate with Swiss-watch precision to the optional Naim audio system that transforms the cabin into a concert hall, every element reinforces Bentley’s commitment to excellence. The handcrafted wood veneers, available in multiple species, are book-matched and mirror-polished to perfection.
W12 Power and Performance
Beneath the Continental GT’s sculpted hood lies Bentley’s magnificent 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine, producing 626 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. This powerplant propels the GT from 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds, while the top speed of 207 mph makes it one of the fastest grand tourers ever built.
The eight-speed dual-clutch transmission shifts with lightning precision, whether you’re cruising through city traffic or attacking mountain passes. The all-wheel-drive system ensures confident handling in all conditions, while the active suspension adapts to road conditions and driving modes with remarkable intelligence.
Dynamic Driving Modes
The Continental GT offers multiple driving modes that transform its character at will. In Comfort mode, it glides serenely over imperfections with the composure of a luxury sedan. Switch to Sport mode, and the suspension firms up, the exhaust opens its valves, and the GT transforms into a proper sports coupe. The Bentley mode provides the perfect balance for most driving situations.
Design Excellence
The Continental GT’s exterior design is nothing short of spectacular. The muscular haunches flow seamlessly into the distinctive rear spoiler, while the massive 22-inch wheels fill the arches perfectly. The LED Matrix headlights incorporate Bentley’s signature crystal-cut detailing, and the optional carbon fiber body kit adds an aggressive edge to the already dramatic silhouette.
Every line serves a purpose, with active aerodynamics that adjust based on speed and driving conditions. The result is a car that’s as beautiful standing still as it is cutting through the air at triple-digit speeds.
The 2019 Bentley Continental GT stands as a masterpiece of automotive engineering, delivering otherworldly performance wrapped in the finest luxury money can buy. It’s the rare car that excels at everything: conquering continents, attacking racetracks, and making every journey feel like a special occasion. This is grand touring at its absolute finest.

ngl this is way outside my wheelhouse, im more of a truck guy who cares about actual payload and towing capacity lol. but if your dropping that kind of money on a bentley, amys right about getting it inspected – those fancy imports can nickel and dime you to death with repairs. id rather have a ram 3500 dually that i can actually put to work, tbh teh resale value on these things probably tanks hard too.
Log in or register to replyhonestly amy nailed it, the 2019 continental gt is a beautiful car but your looking at serious depreciation and those electrical systems are a nightmare to diagnose. ive seen these hit auction at 60-70k when theys only 4-5 years old, so if someone’s gonna buy one used they better factor in warranty costs or its gonna bleed money. the handcrafted stuff is cool but thats not where you’re gonna make money back resale wise imo
Log in or register to replyLook, I’ll be real with you – if someone’s shopping for one of these, they better get a pre-purchase inspection from someone who specializes in high-end British cars, because those hand-stitched leather interiors hide a lot of potential electrical gremlins. The W12 engine is beautiful on paper, but make sure you check the transmission fluid color carefully and listen for any hesitation during shifts. Just saying, “breathtaking performance” costs a lot more to fix when something goes wrong with those complex systems.
